The labels represent the fusion of luxury, discerning style and utmost comfort to heavenly glide over the body, to create a real confidence, which lead to the Silk Attraction™ slogan ‘enhancing your inner confidence & beauty ...’ ™ and BeaYou™ ‘all women should feel good about themselves™. With this in mind, the alluring unique garments have been created to suit every individual and are designed by Virginia and made in Australia.

Silk Attraction™ is a boutique of luxuriously elegant lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear including menswear and outerwear, created from a perfect synergy of the finest silks and ‘soft on the skin’ European laces.
The collection is ‘silky and luxuriously sexy, to stylish lounging’. Strike a pose or elegantly lounge looking gorgeous, you’ll notice the difference.
The outerwear was created to complement our innerwear, as there is a fine line with some of the lingerie as it is ‘just too beautiful to be hidden’ ™.

BeaYou™ is named after and dedicated to Virginia’s mother Beatrice, known to many as Bea, and all those like her who have gone through the devastation of breast cancer.
A percentage of all sales from the beautifully feminine range of lingerie, sleepwear, including mastectomy swimwear with bras to come, will go towards Breast Cancer Research, along with donations to Prostate Cancer the male equivalent.
Garments are made from quality fabrics including beautiful silks, cottons, modal and merino wool, with the emphasis on flattering, stylish designs.

Curvante™ (pronounced as curve vont a) is a collection of curvaceous lingerie/sleepwear to elegantly complement the natural womanly curves.
Many of the fabrics have a stretch component to mould perfectly for utmost comfort and visual appeal.

The label started in the Bridal market then progressed into the general market. Featured in 2004 Mercedes Australian Fashion Week and 2005 Air New Zealand Fashion Week, please view Exposure. Many garments have been sourced by various stylists for promotions, charity events, commercials, advertising and been sold throughout the world.
Unfortunately for 3 years we were engrossed in some overseas customers and their fraudulent activity which threw the business into turmoil, along with the blatant copycats. We have risen above all, and like any bad experience have learnt from it and are now very selective regarding our wholesale customers.

Virginia Poppe is a New Zealander.
Virginia was taught to sew at a very early age by her grandmother, family and theatrical mother, and debuted with a dolls clothes collection. At the age of 8 moved from the doll to design and make her own clothes. Diversified a little with size by designing and creating her horse's elaborate Show covers. A family friend was a successful artist and with her younger sister learnt many different crafts and textile applications. Whilst at school in Auckland, work experience was completed at Pepper Tree (clothing label). At 18 while studying, created a part time business designing and making clothing for a varied client base, continuing for many years in New Zealand and Australia.
Virginia has worked for various designers - women and men's labels - in New Zealand and Australia, modelled, and decided to run a label not only required money, but hands on business experience and has worked for a variety of companies and corporations in many diverse fields.
Along with qualifications in marketing and computer programming, various graphic and fashion design, patternmaking, silk/textile painting and craft courses have been obtained, with many hours of experimentation and self study. You can never stop learning.
